Terms of Service

1. The service

voicememotext (the “Service”) converts audio and video recordings into text using automatic speech recognition. The Service is operated by JoyTime LLC (“we”, “us”).

By creating an account, using the Service, or calling its API, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You may use the Service anonymously within the free daily quota, or sign in with a Google account to sync your quota across devices. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your API keys confidential.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to transcribe recordings you have no right to process — including recordings of people who haven't consented where consent is required by law.

Don't attempt to exceed the plan limits through automated means, resell raw API capacity, or interfere with the Service's operation. “Unlimited” plans are subject to fair use (currently 300 transcriptions per day per account).

4. Content and privacy

You keep all rights to the recordings you upload and the transcripts we produce. We claim no ownership over your content.

Audio is processed to produce your transcript and deleted immediately afterwards; we do not store your recordings or transcripts. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time — the plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

If a charge was made in error, contact support@voicememotext.com and we'll make it right.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but transcripts are machine-generated and may contain errors — review important transcripts before relying on them. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.

We may change or discontinue features, and will adjust these terms over time; material changes will be announced on this page.
