Privacy Policy

The short version

Your audio is processed to produce your transcript and deleted immediately afterwards. We do not store your recordings or transcripts. We never sell your data.

What we collect

If you sign in with Google: your name and email address, used to identify your account and quota. We receive nothing else from Google.

Usage counters: how many transcriptions your account has used today, so quotas work across devices.

API key metadata: if you create API keys, we store the key's name, a random prefix and a cryptographic hash — never the key itself.

Product analytics: aggregate, anonymous usage events via Google Analytics.

Your audio and transcripts

Uploaded audio is held only in memory or in temporary storage for the seconds it takes to produce a transcript, then deleted. Transcripts are returned to you and are not persisted on our servers.

Audio is processed by our speech-recognition providers (currently SiliconFlow and AiHubMix, which route to models such as Whisper) purely to generate your transcript.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; Stripe receives your email to associate the subscription with your account.

Cookies

We set a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and Google Analytics sets cookies for aggregate usage statistics. No advertising cookies.

Deletion

Sign out to clear your session. To delete your account and its data entirely, email support@voicememotext.com from your account address and we'll remove it.
